Terms of Service

The rules that apply once you register, pay for a card and start spending with it.

Last updated · October 14, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form the agreement between you and BuyCryptoCard ("we", "our", "us"), the service at buycryptocard.com. They cover your account and every virtual card you order through it. Opening an account or paying for an order means you accept these Terms together with our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. Please do not use the service if you do not accept them.

1. The service in brief

BuyCryptoCard lets you buy a prepaid virtual card with cryptocurrency and use it for online payments. You choose a balance, pay the total in crypto, and after the payment has been confirmed, a team member creates the card and adds it to your account.

  • We do not issue cards ourselves and we are not a bank. Cards come from third-party issuing partners and are governed by their rules and by the rules of the card schemes.
  • A person is involved in every order. Cards are never created automatically; someone on our team checks each paid order and enters the card into your account.
  • A card balance is prepaid spending money. It is not a deposit, it is not insured as one, and it does not earn interest.

2. Eligibility

To use BuyCryptoCard you must be 18 or older and legally able to accept these Terms. You may not use the service if you are resident or physically present in a country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you appear on any sanctions list. One account per person is allowed, and an account may only be used by the person who opened it unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

3. Keeping your account secure

  • Provide accurate details and keep your email address current. Order updates, card notices and security alerts are all sent there.
  • Two-factor authentication is required for every account. An authenticator app is connected before the dashboard unlocks, and a fresh code is required at every sign-in and for every reveal of card details. It cannot be switched off.
  • Store your password, authenticator device and recovery codes privately. Our staff will never ask for any of them.
  • Activity carried out through your account is your responsibility. If you think someone else has access, write to [email protected] straight away.
  • Resetting two-factor authentication involves identity checks. If you lose both your authenticator and your recovery codes, regaining access to your cards may take some time.

4. Prices, limits and payment

  • Each card must hold an amount between $10.00 and $5,000.00, or within the limits shown in your dashboard if they change.
  • The price of a card is the balance you choose, plus a fixed issuance fee of $5.00 and a load fee of 15% of that balance. Your dashboard shows the full total before you pay, and the total is fixed on our side once the order is created.
  • You can pay through the hosted crypto checkout of one of our payment processors, or, where that option is offered, by transferring crypto to a wallet address we show you and then entering the transaction ID (TXID). Follow the coin, network, address and amount exactly as shown.
  • Network fees and exchange withdrawal fees are yours to cover. The amount that reaches us must equal the total of the order.
  • An order is treated as paid only once the payment processor confirms it to us, or, for a direct wallet payment, once our team has matched your TXID to a confirmed transaction. Unpaid orders may be cancelled. A checkout abandoned before payment can be reopened from the order's page in your dashboard.
  • We can change prices and limits at any time. A change never affects an order that has already been created.

5. Review and issuing times

After a payment is confirmed, a team member checks the order, including the amount actually received, and then issues the card. Once your payment is confirmed, a team member usually issues the card within a few hours. These are typical times rather than promises: busy periods, network congestion or a question about the payment can make it longer. We may decline an order when we cannot confirm the payment or have reason to believe these Terms are being broken.

6. When a payment goes wrong

  • Less than the total arrived. The order cannot be completed as it stands. Contact support: depending on the case we may let you send the missing amount or return what we received, less network costs.
  • More than the total arrived. We will get in touch to return the difference or use it as you prefer, less network costs.
  • Wrong network, wrong token or wrong address. Crypto sent anywhere other than the exact address and network shown may be impossible to recover. We will try in good faith to assist, but such losses remain your responsibility.
  • Transfers still waiting for confirmations are processed after the network has confirmed them.

7. Using a card

  • Acceptance is up to every individual merchant. A store or platform may turn away prepaid or virtual cards, so we cannot promise that a card will be accepted at any particular one.
  • Treat card details like cash. Anyone holding them can attempt to pay with the card.
  • A card can be spent only up to its available balance and only before it expires. What happens to unused balance after expiry follows the issuer's rules and our Refund Policy.
  • We or the issuer may freeze a card at any time to prevent fraud or meet a legal requirement.

8. Prohibited activities

You may not use BuyCryptoCard or any card obtained through it:

  • to commit fraud, to pay with stolen funds or accounts, or to mislead a merchant or platform;
  • to buy, sell or promote goods or services that are unlawful in your location or the merchant's, including drugs, weapons, counterfeit products or child sexual abuse material;
  • to launder money, finance terrorism, evade sanctions or disguise where funds came from;
  • for unlicensed gambling or any activity that requires a licence you do not have;
  • to abuse chargebacks, refunds, free trials or promotions, or to get around a restriction a platform has placed on you;
  • to resell cards or card details, or to open accounts in anyone else's name;
  • to probe, scrape, overload or otherwise interfere with our systems.

We may report suspected illegal activity to the authorities and cooperate with their requests.

9. Refunds

Our Refund Policy sets out when card balance can be returned. In summary: fees are never refunded, a card that has never been used can be refunded in full, and a used card can be refunded only when a large balance remains, after a commission.

10. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close an account, freeze cards, decline orders or hold balances, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken, an account or card is at risk, activity is fraudulent or unlawful, or a partner or the law requires it. Where we are allowed to, we will explain why. You can close your account at any time by contacting support, and any card balance is then handled under the Refund Policy.

11. Our content and software

The BuyCryptoCard name, website, software and written content belong to us or to those who license them to us. You may use them only to access the service in the normal way.

12. No guarantees

We provide the service "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors, that any merchant will accept a card, or that a particular processing time will be met. Blockchains, wallets, exchanges and payment processors are operated by others and are outside our control.

13. Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows: (a) we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill; (b) we are not responsible for losses caused by your own errors (such as using the wrong network or address), by merchants, card issuers or blockchain networks, or by anyone who used your login details; and (c) our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us during the three months before the event that led to the claim. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot legally be limited.

14. Your responsibility to us

If you break these Terms or misuse the service or a card, you agree to cover the losses, costs and claims that result.

15. Updates to these Terms

We may revise these Terms. The current version is always on this page, and we will tell you about important changes by email or in your dashboard. Using the service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of the place from which BuyCryptoCard is operated, without applying conflict-of-law rules. Consumer protections in your country of residence still apply where they cannot be waived. If something goes wrong, please contact us first so we can try to settle it informally.
